CAN I MAKE THIS IN THE OVEN

You certainly can make them in the oven. Using the same technique put the wings in a Lined baking tray, spray with some cooking spray. Bake for 30 mins flipping it on both sides to ensure it does not burn.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COOK.

Ideally frying chicken wings should be 8-10 mins , chicken thigh 15-18 mins and frying should be about 25-30 mins. Ideally you want your chicken wings to be golden brown.

  • Ensure your oil is at the right temperature before frying, one trick I use is to put a chop stick or wooden spoon in the pan and if it has bubbles at the bottom then your oil is ready.
  • Can you swap the soda water? Absolutely you can totally do without this, you can just use plain eggs and it works as well.
  • Will this recipe work for other chicken cuts? Yea you can use this recipe for chicken thighs, drumsticks or chicken breast.
