This chewy cookies is warm, mouth-watering deliciously and easy to put together. 

 2020 has been all sort of emotions and a roller coaster of a year if I must say so myself, so there is no better time to treat your self to some homemade chewy chocolate cookies than this Christmas season.  

 This recipe is totally yummy and can easily be customised, you can add whatever fillings you want like peanut chips , white chocolate etc but can be guaranteed every spoonful will be heavenly.

Tips for Making Easy Chocolate Chewy Cookies

  1. Do not over bake the cookies. To achieve a gooey/Chewy consistency ideally bake the cookies no more than 13 minutes. The heat will complete the cooking process while it sets.

How to Keep Chocolate chewy cookies.

  1. Ideally this cookies is best enjoyed on the first day while still warm but it can totally be kept frozen and pre heated in the oven for another day.
  2. Another good thing about this recipe is that you can keep the batter fridge overnight.

Ingredients

  • 90g Flour 
  • Soft Brown Sugar 70g
  • 60g Unsalted Butter 
  • ¼ Bicarbonate of Soda 
  • ¼ Baking powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • One Egg 
  • ½ spoon Vanilla extract
  • 100g Chocolate

HOW TO MAKE THESE EASY CHEWY CHOCOLATE COOKIES.

  • Preheat your oven to 150°C 
  • Melt Butter in the Microwave.
  • In a mixing bowl, add Melted butter and egg then mix together using a hand whisk or Egg Whisker.
  • Add your Egg and Mix until fully incorporated 
  • Sift flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt and pour into your batter, mix all together 
  • Pour chocolate and combine into batter 
  • Bake in 6-inch cast iron skillet for 10-13 Mins or until its golden brown 
  • Allow to sit for 5-7 mins before eating. Enjoy with ice cream.
