Notes

  1. Ensure you thoroughly wash your cauliflower before frying.
  2. Cut them into medium bite sizes so it fries quickly.
  3. You can fry them using vegetable, sunflower or canola oil.
  4. Just like every recipe, adjust the seasoning to your taste.
  5. I fried my cauliflower but you can use an air fryer like this or simply grill it in the oven.

Ingredients

  1. 1 head of Cauliflower 700g
  2. 1/2 tsp salt.
  3. 1 tsp white pepper
  4. 1 Egg
  5. 1/2 cup flour
  6. 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  7. 1/3 cup of BBQ Sauce
  8. 1 tbs hot sauce
  9. 1 tsp honey
  10. Vegetable oil

To make our delicious BBQ Cauliflower

  1. Add vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan and allow to heat on a stove top. I would usually do this for 15 mins.
  2. Wash your cauliflower thoroughly then pat dry with kitchen towel.
  3. Cut into medium sizes then add salt and white pepper.
  4. In a large bowl mix half of the flour and one egg together and add half of the cayenne pepper.
  5. Pour cut cauliflower into wet batter and throughly combine.
  6. Using another bowl, pour the remaining flour and add cauliflower, few at a time to ensure its completely coated and shake off any excess.
  7. Once oil is hot, fry your cauliflower for around 3-5 mins or until golden brown.

To Make the sauce for the Cauliflower.

You can decide to eat this on its own without the sauce, but I will highly recommend you don’t.

  1. In a hot pan, add BBQ sauce, honey, hot sauce and half a tbs of cayenne pepper.
  2. Stir this for 1 Min, we just need the combine the sauces together.
  3. Toss fried Cauliflower immediately after frying into the sauce and Mix.
  4. Serve Fried Cauliflower on its own or with a Dip of choice.
